Mt Field Trek
Mt Field National Park was proclaimed one of the first reserves in Tasmania in 1916 and is situated 75 km west of Hobart.
This 3 day trek is suitable for the beginner trekker who wishes to whet their appetite for the outdoor experience.
Our trek is over easy to moderate terrain, we walk through forests of pines and sub – alpine vegetation and camp beside majestic highland tarns.
The parks diversity of plant life and modified terrain make this trek a must do while visiting Tasmania.
This tour also includes 2 nights at Base Camp Tasmania; a beautiful rural retreat just north of New Norfolk, plus 2 barbeque dinners and 2 breakfasts. We also visit the spectacular Russell Falls and walk the Tall Tree Circuit at the parks entrance before we begin our trek.
