Lamington National Park
Rainforest & Breathtaking Views
Lamington National Park is about a 1 hour 40 minute drive from Brisbane and it is the largest remaining area of subtropical rainforest in the world. The park is also home to a large variety of flora and fauna many of which are very rare and endangered.
Binna Burra at Lamington National Park is our walk start point and we trek a 12km circuit taking you through rainforest, eucalypt forest and open heath. The circuit then follows the cliff tops where you will have spectacular views over the Numinbah Valley and Dave’s Creek. We lunch at Picnic Creek before we return along the Border Track to Binna Burra.
